The Subtle Pisces

We started with Aries in which the soul was full of raw energy. Its journey took place through the rest of the signs. And now the twelfth sign of the zodiac marks the end of this journey, where the soul merges with the Higher self. After practical Gemini, comes the much emotional Crabs. Those of you who have your birthdays from 21st June-22nd July have Cancer Sun Sign. If there is anyone who can make others feel like they are at home, then it’s definitely you. Yes it’s true that you get the tag of the mother among all the sun signs. You nurture every person near you like a mother. Your benevolence, kindness and compassion speaks for itself.  You lend your ears patiently to others. Being good empathizers you are perfect consolers. You not only help others to heal their wounds but are a natural self-healer too. This way you remain unshaken during storms.

Nothingness… as i see it

This nothingness is a bad feeling. you feel that you are not worth anything. You may even feel that life is not what it should be. You may feel that you haven’t realized your potential or even think that you haven’t achieved anything at all in your lifetime.

I cant really chalk out one reason why this feeling of nothingness becomes a part of one person. Sometimes there is a big failure in life. Sometimes we may think that we couldn’t stand on our own expectations. But a number of times this nothingness is the result of a series of small events. it is the sum total of tiny heartbreaks, small pinching words, harsh sentences and a rude behavior.

Sometimes it is a small girl who makes a small bouquet of flowers from her garden to show it off to her parents who are busy fighting, only to come back to cry and throw them on the ground.

Sometimes it is a boy who has been struggling hard to get good grades, who is fighting with himself to be noticed, who is trying too hard to make people believe he is worth it. But alas, he fails even on trying this hard. he fails to achieve the worldly norms, he fails to achieve what the world wants, he fails to get  what he is expected to get.

All of us fail at some point or the other. all of us fail to stand on our own expectations, leave alone the world. the problem is often not with our performance, but with the expectations. Maybe they are too high, maybe they are too close to the hypothesis of perfection.
